The Meath Foundation is pleased to announce its 2024 Research Grants
The Meath Foundation is committed to bringing positive change to Tallaght University Hospital
and the community it serves through innovation and excellence in Healthcare practice and
research.
Healthcare research is the bridge that takes us from today’s good practice to tomorrow’s better
practice. In supporting world class research at TUH, the Meath Foundation helps to build this
bridge to the future, not only in TUH, but nationally and internationally.
Two Research Grants are being offered:
2 x Research Grants valued at €75,000 each
- The John Barragry Research Grant title will be conferred on one of the successful recipients.
The Foundation is seeking, in particular, to encourage healthcare professionals in the
early stages of their career to start or develop research capability through the pursuit of
innovative, high quality projects. - The research should be of a basic or exploratory nature, although projects seeking to
underpin existing research with an applied end will also be considered.
