Volunteer

The most essential resource of any charity is its people. Volunteers play an important part in delivering the work of the Meath Foundation.

The Board of Directors are volunteers who have collective responsibility for oversight of The Meath Foundation. They give their time to improve, protect and support the Foundation’s charitable activities through strategic development and good governance. Some Directors are drawn from the membership of the Foundation, while others are co-opted so that the Board has a wide range of skills and experience to support the needs of the organisation.

External Members of Committees bring skills, expertise and different perspectives to the Committee on which they serve. The Foundation also engages a panel of volunteer assessors for the assessment of applicants for our funding streams.
