The Meath Foundation is committed to bringing positive change to Tallaght University Hospital and the community it serves, through innovation and excellence in Healthcare practice and research. We aim to open up opportunities for the Hospital staff community to improve quality processes in Healthcare. We deliver our strategic objectives through the provision of funding in partnership and collaboration with key stakeholders and the wider community.
Our primary funding areas are reflected in our strategic themes:
- Advancing Healthcare Research
- Recognising and Promoting Excellence
- Educating Future Healthcare Leaders
- Promoting and Improving Quality of Care and Delivery
- Promoting Better Health through the Arts
We are focused on the demonstrable impact of our funding on innovation and excellence in Healthcare practice and research. We support patient-focused projects that improve health outcomes and the experience of patients and staff. We emphasise the importance of access, equity, quality, and the integration of services. We seek to support projects that change patient behaviours wherever possible to promote longer and healthier lives for the community.
The Meath Foundation has values that underpin the organisation and guide how we work together. We pursue informed decision making that is driven by a sense of responsibility, openness and acceptance. Integrity is central to how we work together. We share the values of honesty, accountability and transparency and have a clear commitment to good governance.
Our approach is guided by The Strategic Plan 2021 – 2026.
