As part of the year of celebrations to mark Tallaght University Hospital’s 25th anniversary, the Meath Foundation team joined colleagues across the hospital for the “A Night at the OsKaRs” project. In addition to committing to weekly rehearsals, learning lines, building sets, sourcing costumes, the Foundation team and their actor colleagues committed to raising funds for two causes that will benefit both patients and staff. In all, €22,000 was raised for Irish Therapy dogs and the live music programme in the hospital. It was enjoyable to make connections across the hospital campus and to experience acting and being in front of the cameras.
